About

IMG_5495 Jane with her rabbit. She is great with small animals and kids, and so they all love her.

Jane is our purebred Australian Shepherd. I  have had her since she was a little puppy, and she is by far the best dog I have ever had. A few years ago several friends of mine who love Jane said, if you ever breed her, we want a puppy! So I chose a border collie that would be a great fit for nice, intelligent, hard working dogs, and she had her first litter. 8 of the 9 puppies were sold based on people who knew Jane and wanted a Jane too. The puppies were amazing, and they all had Jane’s sweet temperament, brilliance, and merle coloring. Because they were so great, and because we had more people wanting a Jane puppy, we bred her to a border collie the next year. From this litter I was able to keep one for a while that was going to be my brother’s new dog. She was by far the smartest dog I had ever worked with. Once again, Jane passed on her personality to all the puppies.

After that I had learned about the doodle breeds, and was intrigued. I thought, what if we could have a dog with Jane’s temperament, hard work ethic, love for kids, nurturing abilities for small animals, combined with a poodle’s energy, low to no shedding coat, and intelligence? That would be an awesome dog! So we found a stud who was a working service dog. He alerts his owner to her seizures before she has them, and protects her during a seizure. He will even curl up around her head in the event of a seizure to protect her from harming herself. It is amazing. He is brilliant, very hard working, and has such a fun, energetic personality. So we tried it, and were in LOVE. From here on out we plan on breeding Aussiedoodles. We have such great reviews from our Aussiedoodle owners. I can’t think of a better family companion dog.

UPDATE: Jane has retired and now is the grandma and boss of our little pack. She is living a great life. She loves to dote on Lucy’s puppies, and even helps out Lucy with some cleaning and other dog mom type of stuff.

Lucy is our current breeding dog. She is Jane’s daughter by Zeus an awesome seizure alert dog from Idaho. We love Lucy’s temperament and she is just totally smart. She is another Jane, just in a doodle coat, and we are so lucky to have her! Those lines are very important to me, so I am thrilled to be able to continue them.

Hi Rachel. We are indeed planning a Spring litter. They will probably be ready to go around the 4th of July if all goes as normal. We have 7 people on a waiting list for that litter, but are taking more. They are $1200 regardless of gender.

Hi Eric! Sorry for the late reply, we have been visiting family. We do not have any puppies left, but we do have a waiting list for our next litter. There are 11 on that list, and Jane will likely have no more than 9 pups, but generally not everyone on the waiting list ends up following through for various reasons. So if you are interested in one of ours, please let me know and I can get you on our waiting list soon so that you will at least have a chance for our spring 2016 litter. Thanks! My number is (530) 736-9026 and you can reach me there by text or call.

Hi I have read about your dogs and they seem lovely. I am intetested in a puppy but realise that it is impossible due to the distance… as I live in Sweden. Do you know if there are any breeders more close to my country?

      Hello!
I do not know of any breeders outside of the US. If you don’t have any luck finding a breeder there, let me know and we can look into the logistics of exporting a dog to your country. It would have to be at least 12 weeks I am guessing to avoid too much stress on too young a dog.

I have seen that your waiting lists are filling up quickly 😊 so I just wanted to ask you if you have any litters planned for the future?

        Best regards
